Nex-Tech

A leading manufacturer of complex structural components and assemblies for the aerospace industry

Committed To Quality

Nex-Tech Aerospace is committed to quality, reliability and precision. As a result, in 2002 they were awarded Boeing Preferred Supplier Certification and Kansas Award for Excellence for performance and quality. To achieve this, the company uses state-of-the-art software known as NCL and high-speed machining equipment for manufacturing metal components used in structural airframes.

Nex-Tech Aerospace specializes in 5 axis profiling for the Aerospace Industry. Currently, the company has several mills that are capable of profiling 5 sides of a work piece in a single set-up.

As stated by Travis Park, NC Programmer, NCL gives us the tool path control we need to implement the most efficient machining strategies. Along with tool control comes flexibility. With NCL's many tool axis control statements we are able to attack the most complex aero structure with confidence.

An example would be the Titanium Frame pictured. It has 42 pockets that require tool axis tilt in excess of 60 degrees with tool lengths over 9 inches to reach the bottom. If that were not challenging enough, most of the walls are either concaved or convex in the Z direction with .250 corner and fillet radii around the entire pocket. That kind of geometry requires the kind of finesse & tool control only NCL offers.
